Delete your Helixir account

You can permanently delete your Helixir account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains both options and what is removed.

Option 1 · Delete from inside the app

  1. Sign in at helixir.ai or open the Helixir app.
  2. Go to Settings from the sidebar.
  3. Scroll to Danger zone → Delete account.
  4. Type DELETE to confirm.

Your account and profile are removed immediately. You are signed out on all devices.

Option 2 · Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, email us from the address on your account:

We verify the request against the email on file and complete deletion within 7 business days.

What is deleted

  • Your user account (email, phone, name, hashed credentials).
  • Your profile, role assignments and organization memberships.
  • Personal preferences and device sessions.

What is retained (and why)

  • Immutable audit records of AI and security events are kept for the retention period required by our HIPAA / DPDP obligations, with user identifiers pseudonymised.
  • Billing and tax records (invoices, GST filings) are retained for statutory periods under Indian law.
  • Clinical records created inside a customer organization belong to that organization and are not deleted with your personal account — contact the organization's administrator for those.
